Hermine Demael and Stephen Zimmerer share an architectural and landscape design practice. Their work leverages the tools of architecture to address landscape, climate, and the environment, taking shape as full-scale gardens and greenhouse prototypes designed for the Jardins de Métis, Syracuse University School of Architecture, and the New York Botanical Garden. Throughout, they seek to produce new architectural forms, assembly details, and design priorities for an increasingly unstable climate.

They teach architectural design and media at Syracuse University.
